Newton and Jasper County’s first and only animal rescue.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing neglected, abandoned, or abused animals in and around Jasper County and providing them with a safe foster home until a forever home can be found .
We do not have a facility as we are foster based only, meaning we take in animals, get them spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations, place them in a foster home (which is a volunteer that opens up their home and cares for the animal) until they can be adopted into their forever home.
We have a screening application to adopt, meaning it is not first come, first serve. We place an animal based on what we believe is the best fit.
We have a TNR program and have spayed or neutered and vaccinated over 1,200 cats/kittens in the community.
How you can help:
- Donations (we are all volunteers and work solely off of donations as we are a not for profit)
- Cat litter (the clumping kind)
- Wet dog and cat food
- Used pet carriers and kennels
- Be a foster for us (we provide food and vet care)
